Super Time iOS App • Last updated: October 1, 2026
Summary: Detailed practice history, presets, and Sampler audio stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. RevenueCat receives purchase records. Two separate choices, both off by default, allow a limited summary of new practice milestones and Apple Ads measurement. If you join a Practice Circle, the display name you choose, timing messages, and chat messages you send are processed temporarily to operate that live session.
Super Time ("the App") is a metronome and practice application developed by Super Time Ultra ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.
No account is required. Most features work entirely on your device. Practice Circles use our service only while you take part in a live synchronized session.
Super Time does not collect or use the following for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking:
The App stores the following information locally on your device to provide its functionality:
If a future build configures an HTTPS improvement endpoint, sharing would remain off until you enable it. A shared batch may include a resettable random improvement token to group coarse events across app runs; it is not an account, Apple transaction, advertising, or cross-app identifier. Turning sharing off or clearing usage signals removes that token locally.
This data is stored locally using iOS standard storage mechanisms and is not transmitted to our servers. You can delete this data from within the App where a delete action is available, or delete the App to remove its local practice data. The nearby identifier has the Keychain lifecycle described in Nearby sharing.
Bonjour nearby discovery advertises your iOS device name and a random app identifier when nearby discovery is enabled and you grant iOS Local Network permission. A connected nearby session exchanges tempo, meter, musical playback settings, transport, and clock messages directly with the other iOS device.
Both phones approve every new nearby connection: one person taps Join and the other taps Accept. A saved peer identifier only labels or sorts a future Join choice; it does not authorize a connection. Decline or Disconnect clears that identifier. You can turn nearby discovery off in Play Together.
The random nearby identifier is stored in this device's Keychain and does not migrate to another device through backup restoration. It may remain in the Keychain after app deletion. Deleting and reinstalling without restoring app data creates a new nearby identifier.
The App stores its device name and selected or last connected peer identifier locally. Disconnect clears the stored peer identifier. You can manage the App’s Local Network permission in iOS Settings. Deleting the App removes the device-name and peer-history copies.
Nearby musical timing messages travel directly on your local network without encryption. These messages do not use our hosted Practice Circle service.
Nearby sharing does not send microphone audio, recordings, practice history, saved presets, contacts, or precise location.
Practice Circles let invited musicians on iPhone and the web share a live tempo, meter, transport, count-in, participant list, and private chat. When you create or join a Circle, the App transmits:
The live Circle service holds participant and session state only while the Circle is operating and removes it when the session expires. The App also caches your chosen display name and participant identifier locally to make the next Circle entry and reconnect easier; deleting the App removes those local copies. This information is used only to provide the Circle and is not used for advertising or tracking. Practice Circles do not send microphone audio, instrument audio, practice history, or saved presets.
The Sampler requests microphone access only after you choose to record a sound. Recording is optional. You can import audio into a pad or import a Sampler project without microphone access. Recorded and imported sounds are stored locally on your device. The App does not upload microphone audio or Sampler audio files on its own. You choose when to export or share audio or a Sampler project through the iOS share sheet; the destination you select then handles that copy.
Super Time offers optional in-app purchases ("Pro" features) through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.
For information about how Apple handles your purchase data, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Super Time uses RevenueCat to validate and report App Store purchase history, including subscriptions, renewals, restores and refunds. The RevenueCat SDK sends purchase records and a randomly generated app user identifier. This reporting operates independently of practice-summary, on-device usage-sharing and Apple Ads choices. We do not send your name, email address, Practice Circle identity, audio or notes to RevenueCat. Apple processes payments; we do not receive your card details or Apple ID.
Super Time keeps its StoreKit purchase interface and paid-access handling. RevenueCat reporting failures do not block purchases, restores or playback. Existing purchases can be synced when you open an updated version or restore through Apple. RevenueCat may continue refreshing purchase status through Apple and server notifications. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Apple Ads measurement is off by default and requires a separate affirmative choice in Settings. If you allow it, RevenueCat collects a standard Apple AdServices attribution token and asks Apple for campaign attribution to measure advertising results alongside purchases. We do not request IDFA, App Tracking Transparency permission, or age and gender refinements for this integration. Unavailable attribution does not establish that an installation came from an advertisement.
Practice summary sharing is a separate choice, off by default. If you allow it, RevenueCat receives only new milestones observed after that choice: coarse days since consent, first confirmed playback, first Pro offer, latest observed day and whether confirmed practice was observed on a later UTC day. Day offsets are capped at 90-plus. These latest summary fields are associated with the anonymous purchase identifier; they describe a consenting sample, not all installations or a historical event funnel. No past local event history, audio, notes or exact tempos are uploaded. Turning this choice off stops future summary updates and queues removal of the summary fields when online. Purchase records and past provider exports are not erased by that action; contact us for access or deletion requests.
Purchase reporting and the Apple Ads choice do not authorize sharing your on-device practice or offer events. Practice summary sharing retains its separate permission described above. You can turn off Apple Ads measurement in Settings; automatic attribution collection stops on the next app launch. Previously collected attribution remains until removed. Clearing local usage signals or deleting the app does not delete RevenueCat purchase, practice-summary or previously collected attribution records. Settings provides a contact action to request withdrawal, access or deletion of reporting records. A request you choose to send can include the RevenueCat support reference. If you send us that reference by email, we can associate that reference with your request so we can locate those records. Optional attribution does not change whether you can use the app or buy Pro.
Apple provides App Store purchases and Apple Ads attribution. RevenueCat processes purchase history and the optional standard attribution described above. Automatic advertising and vendor device identifier collection is disabled. The original on-device event log remains local because no endpoint is configured for that separate feature. The optional RevenueCat practice summary shares only the new milestones described above after its own permission.
We do not sell or rent your information. Purchase reporting shares the records described above with RevenueCat; optional attribution shares a token with RevenueCat and Apple after your choice. If you separately choose practice summary sharing, RevenueCat also receives the limited summary described above. Information you send to a Practice Circle is shown to its invited participants and processed by our hosting infrastructure to provide the service. Sampler audio and projects leave the App only when you choose a destination from the iOS share sheet.
The App is not designed to collect children's contact information. Practice Circles do not require an account, email address, or contact upload. A participant chooses the display name and chat messages they share with the invited Circle.
Local app data is protected by iOS's built-in security features. Practice Circle connections use encrypted HTTPS and WebSocket transport.
