Introduction

Super Time ("the App") is a metronome and practice application developed by SuperTime Ultra ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

No account is required. Most features work entirely on your device. Practice Circles use our service only while you take part in a live synchronized session.

Information We Do Not Collect for Tracking

Super Time does not collect or use the following for advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking:

• Your email address or phone number
• Location data
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes
• Cross-app usage or behavioral profiles
• Advertising identifiers
• Third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking data

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your device to provide its functionality:

• Metronome Settings: BPM, time signature, subdivision, and sound preferences
• Practice History: Session data including dates, durations, and tempo settings
• Custom Presets: Your saved metronome presets, custom kits, and practice setups
• Audio Preferences: Playback settings, and tuner settings in versions before 2.0.8
• On-device improvement signals: The current iOS build stores a bounded set of coarse events, such as opening Practice, starting or ending a session, observing a coarse Pro access or subscription-renewal state, or choosing subscription management. These records may include the app version, OS major version, broad feature labels, player-selected practice focus and instrument buckets, duration or result buckets, a finite subscription state such as subscribed, grace period, billing retry, expired, or revoked, and a randomly generated session identifier for grouping events during one app run. They do not include audio, notes, feedback message text, email addresses, exact tempo or setting values, or a persistent account identifier. In the current iOS build, no telemetry endpoint is configured, so these signals are not transmitted to our servers.

If a future build configures an HTTPS improvement endpoint, sharing would remain off until you enable it. A shared batch may include a resettable random improvement token to group coarse events across app runs; it is not an account, Apple transaction, advertising, or cross-app identifier. Turning sharing off or clearing usage signals removes that token locally.

This data is stored locally using iOS standard storage mechanisms and is not transmitted to our servers. You can delete this data at any time from within the App or by deleting the App from your device.

Practice Circles

Practice Circles let invited musicians on iPhone and the web share a live tempo, meter, transport, count-in, participant list, and private chat. When you create or join a Circle, the App transmits:

• Display name: The name you choose for other musicians to see in that Circle
• Participant identifier: A randomly generated identifier used to keep your participant state and support reconnects during Circle use. It is not an account ID and is not used for advertising or tracking.
• Session messages: Timing, transport, tempo, meter, presence, and connection-quality messages needed to keep the session coordinated
• Chat messages: Any short messages you choose to send to the Circle

This information is held in memory only while the live Circle is operating and is removed when the session expires. It is used only to provide the Circle and is not used for advertising or tracking. The App caches your chosen display name and participant identifier locally to make the next Circle entry and reconnect easier; deleting the App removes those local copies. Practice Circles do not send microphone audio, instrument audio, practice history, or saved presets.

Microphone Access

Version 2.0.8 does not request microphone access. Earlier versions may request it for the on-device tuner to estimate pitch locally; microphone audio is processed on the device and is not saved or transmitted.

In-App Purchases

Super Time offers optional in-app purchases ("Pro" features) through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use:

• Google Analytics or Firebase
• Facebook SDK
• Advertising networks
• Crash reporting services that collect personal data

The current iOS build does not transmit the on-device improvement signals described above because no telemetry endpoint is configured.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or use your information for advertising. Information you choose to send to a Practice Circle is shown only to the invited participants in that live Circle and processed by our hosting infrastructure to provide the service.

Children's Privacy

The App is not designed to collect children's contact information. Practice Circles do not require an account, email address, or contact upload. A participant chooses the display name and chat messages they share with the invited Circle.

Data Security

Local app data is protected by iOS's built-in security features. Practice Circle connections use encrypted HTTPS and WebSocket transport.

Your Rights

You have control over information handled by the App:

• Access: Your data is stored on your device and accessible through the App
• Deletion: You can clear usage signals under Settings > Privacy, or delete the App to remove its local data. Leaving a Practice Circle removes you from the live session; Circle data is removed when the session expires.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
