Creating a polyrhythm that is not in the presets
Use the available custom pulse counts to build a ratio, then choose separate sounds and levels so you can hear the voices clearly. The smallest counting grid is the lowest common multiple of the two numbers: 5:3 uses fifteen slots and 7:6 uses forty-two. Pick the side that should set the BPM before raising the tempo.
Swing delays alternating counter attacks; it does not swing every counting slot or the base voice. Offset moves the counter timing relative to the base. Start with both at zero to hear the exact ratio, then adjust one at a time. Add layer introduces a third or fourth voice locked to the shared cycle.
Share carries the ratio, BPM reference, sounds, mix, view and extra voices in a preset link. Sequence has its own Copy link action. Your local practice results and saved library are separate. Export MIDI or MusicXML for a DAW or score, or WAV and MP3 for a listening reference.
