Keep time

Open the browser metronome for a steady reference, tap along to find a tempo, or choose a drum groove when you want a more musical backing. Move into a focused tempo exercise when a passage is ready to get faster.

Understand a difficult rhythm

The polyrhythm generator makes two pulse counts audible and visible. Start slowly, hear each side separately, then combine them. Share the tool’s link with a teacher or another musician when you want to work on the same pattern.

Connect rhythm and harmony

Explore keys with the circle of fifths and work through chord progressions. Take a small musical idea back to your instrument rather than stopping at a diagram. MOTION is a separate camera-based instrument for exploring music with your hands.
